About the Founder

Bella Figueroa grew up in the bay area, one of seven children and daughter of two imigrant parents. As a child she was always inquisitive and often took on the role of problem solver. While she has enjoyed success professionally and personally, something has always eluded her. In 2001 while working for the federal government she made a decision to help individuals in all walks of life. She returned to school and shortly after worked for a non-profit educational institution before continuing her work in social services.  While working for child protective services, she realized that being bilingual opened her palette to a broader technical spectrum. While she didn't enjoy the late hours and the stress the job entailed; she is most grateful for being given the opportunity to teach and help individuals be self-sufficient, while learning from them in the process.  While on the job she met many folks in her line of work that opened her eyes to the many opportunities a spanish speaking professional has. And after an injury and too many bureacratic changes, she decided that her talents were best used elsewhere.

While volunteering in her community she soon realized that interpretation and translation services was vital in the community and that she was a valuable asset.  She embarked on a year long journey to be trained by the best, researched credible programs both online and print, and did probono for non-profits and charitable causes.

Bella has always stood by her ethical obligation and moral duties, which she gladly says "I'll quit before I jeopardize my credibility."  You might ask what or whom she credits her driven and no-nonsence attitude, she gladly replies, "my kids ~ they don't offer vacations or time-off," mother of three children (including a child with special needs) she is constantly on the go while still finding time to partake as the PTA president for her daughters' school, and being a member of the City's Education Committee and serving on the school board's Parent Education and Nutrition Committees.  Bella strongly believes that "Education is key to success and everyone has an equal opportunity."

Bellizzima Translation is not just a name, it's a idea that is centerred around personal beliefs of doings things right the first time, honesty and integrity is an expectation not a motto, and business is an opportunity to make life-long friends.

Because of Bella's creativeness and ingenuity we have been able to expand to different markets and consumers.  By fall 2010 Bellizzima Translation hopes to expand to the central valley.

Here's to beautiful partnerships and lasting friendships ~
